My Little Princess, Friendship is Magic: Princess Celestia

I really tried to keep her small, but it was hard. I have two options:

My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic: Pinkie Pie

Sometimes I find Pinkie Pie to be a little over the top, but she is just so great it is hard to not like her:

My Little Ponies, Friendship is Magic: Fluttershy

See, it is okay to be shy.

My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic: Rainbow Dash

Everyone loves Rainbow Dash, like everyone, because she is awesome:

My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic: Applejack

I super love Applejack, I mean how can you not?

My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic: Rarity

I love Rarity's spunk, I also wish I had her work ethic:

My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic: Twilight Sparkle

I started making these patterns for my nieces, and some patterns that were super popular, even with my nephews, were the My Little Pony patterns. To start things off, Twilight:

For both the stripe of purple in Twilight's hair as well as her eyes, if you have the glitter purple perler bead, I like to use the glitter purple in place of the plum.

Disney Princess: Elsa from Frozen

Finally here she is, everyone's favorite not actually bad villain (?), a true anti-hero (?), whatever, here is Elsa! Here she is in both her coronation dress and her fancy, "Let it Go" dress (again with two color options).

This blue option of the fancy dress is by far the better, however, Elsa's dress isn't strictly blue, it is a weird blue green, without really being green. So below I also have a green option:

Disney Princess: Anna from Frozen

Finally, I think that I am done posting all of the Disney Princesses, and what better way to finish it off than with the most recent of Disney Pricesses, Anna and Elsa. Here is Anna in both her adventure outfit and her coronation dress (with two color options).

I think the above is a more accurate color approximation, but I don't super love it. I think option 2 is my favorite:

Disney Princess: Tiana from The Princess and the Frog

Tiana is the first African-American princess, finally!! Unless you count Kida from Atlantis, not sure if she does count though, wouldn't she me more like Aztec/Mayan-ish? Anyways, here we have Tiana in her work clothes, blue gown, and green wedding dress (with 2 options).

Above is the first pattern that I made for Tiana in her frog wedding dress, but as I was looking at it just now, I think the colors could get closer to the real thing. So I made this one as another option:

Disney Princess: Rapunzel from Tangled

Here is everyone's favorite blond and brunette? :)

If you have the glitter purple bead, I like to use that for the skirt instead of the purple bead.

Disney Princess: Pocahontas

Did you know that the lead animators at Disney all chose to work on Pocahontas and not the Lion King, because they thought that the story was better? It is true. Now the story for Pocahontas is awesome, but can you image how amazing the Lion King would have looked if it was the other way around? No offense to the Lion King animators...oops. :)

Disney Princess?: Mulan

So Mulan is totally apart of the Disney Princess canon, but is she really a princess? Ah, who cares, she is awesome. Also I may have gone a little Mulan crazy, she has lots of outfits.

Disney Princess: Merida from Brave

You know I didn't super love Brave when I first saw it, but after seeing it many times while watching it with my niece, who was obsessed, and I did end up changing my first judgement. She is a really lovely, fiery red head:

Disney Character: Megaera

Hey, you mean Hunkules, not my best work...but I wasn't sure how else to get the hair to look right.

Disney Character: Cute Lilo

Lilo is super cute!

Disney Princess: Kida from Atlantis

Kida is another one of those lesser known Disney Princesses, I don't believe that the movie did super well. However, I liked her all the same:

Disney Character: Jessie

Everyone loves a great cowgirl, and Jessie is a great cowgirl:

Disney Princess: Princess Jasmine from Aladdin

Enter Princess Jasmine, Belle may have been the first "feminist" princess, however Jasmine was the first to actually wear pants. The color of those pants, however, can be confusing. In the movie it looks like Jasmine is wearing blue, but then in later designs she looks like she is in green. So, here she is in both as well as her purple dress:

Disney Character: Jane in her travel dress, work dress, and Jane of the Jungle gig

I may have gone a little overboard with Jane from Tarzan...oops.

Disney Character: Esmerelda

I am going to say it, I don't really like the Disney movie Hunchback of Notre Dame, but I love Esmerelda. Her song in the cathedral, God Help the Outcasts, though short, has poignant lyrics and is just overall awesome. I think that I may also make her in her red dress, the one from the festival.

Also, I changed the "W's" from being to bold, like in past posts, to just regular type. I think that I like it more.

Disney Princess: Belle in both her country dress and gown

Belle is probably my favorite princess. Here she is in both her gown and country dress, however, sometimes I think that her hair may be too big. Oh well, go big or go home, right?

Note: for some reason the blue uploaded oddly and looks super bright, but never fear, the actual "light blue" perler is spot on.

Disney Princess: Ariel as both Mermaid and Human

Such a great movie to start off the Disney Renaissance:

Disney Character: Annita Radcliffe

I love this pattern, I think it is one of my best, but oddly enough I have never actually, physically made her out of perler beads. I will have to do that, maybe tomorrow. This is, of course, Anita from 101 Dalmatians.

Disney Princess: Princess Eilonwy

Here is a lesser known princess, Princess Eilonwy, from the Black Caldron. It is a little bit difficult to tell exactly what color the top of her dress is. Sometimes it appears black, and others it appears more purple. I have both here in order to appease both arguments:

Disney Character: Wendy

Another character who does or does not have blond hair? Here she does not, but you may want her too, and that is okay too:

Disney Character: Tinker Bell

Another great:

Disney Princess: Cinderella in gown and work clothes

Another great:

I know what you are thinking, "Doesn't Cinderella have blond hair?" Well...kind of. She doesn't in the movie, promise, but in all of her recent promotional drawings she does. Color the hair as you wish. :)
